ABOUT A PLACE CALLED HOME

A Placed Called Home (APCH) is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where underserved youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives. This is accomplished through programs in education, arts and wellbeing, inspiring them to make a meaningful difference in their communities and the world. Core programs work in conjunction with one another to support APCH members in avoiding destructive behaviors by developing life skills and motivation to overcome adversity, make healthy productive choices and take advantage of the opportunities that lie before them.
